JASMINE CEREMONY IN PALEMBANG

A Hindu Umat woman compiled a sesajian during the ritual of Melasti to welcome the Hari Nyepi, in Taman Purbakala Sriwijaya Palembang, South Sumatra, Sunday (6/3). The Ritual of Melasti was followed by hundreds of Hindus aimed at self-cleaning and soul of all forms of bad deed in the past as well as apply to Sang Hyang Widhi to be given power when performing Nyepi.
