NET PROFIT OF THE GARUDA DECREASED

President Director of Garuda Indonesia M Arif Wibowo (the middle) answered the questions of journalists regarding losses experienced by PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk on Semester I 2016, Jakarta, Monday (1/8). PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has a decrease in net profit of 63,2 million US dollars or equivalent to Rp824 billion in Semester I 2016 or anjlok 315,7 percent of the same period 2015 which intake net profits of Rp392,6 billion, it is because of strict competitions in domestic flights that led to the occurrence of price war and Garuda Indonesia will close the losses through the Directorate of Kargo who acquired revenues reaching 107,78 million US dollars.
