South Jong Festival in Bintan

Participants are carrying a squad boat to start the race in the South Jong Festival competition on the Kawal Beach, Bintan, Kepri Saturday (22/8). Jong boat is a traditional melyu game, relying on wind to sail. The South Jong Festival followed by 250 Jong boats from various areas in Kepri is only carried out when the south winds are blown on Bintan Island.
