HALOLOK DECLARATION OR PAPADAK

A number of indigenous peoples declare local wisdom and Halolok/Papadak (Sea guard) in Rote, NTT Wednesday, (7/9). The declaration contains vows and appointments from 48 indigenous people to keep the sea and if it is violated will be charged sanctions in the form of money that ranges from Rp10 million to Rp100 million.
