FESTIVE ASYURA CELEBRATIONS IN THE THENSSAR

Representatives of Islamic institutions and ornaments, graduation organizations, as well as mosque managers showed the opposition to the celebration of Asyura (10 Muharram) Syiah, in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Saturday (8/10). They appeal to the government and society to reject and prohibit the festivities of the Syiah who are assessed to potentially cause destruction between people and threaten the stability of NKRI.
