EXTREME WEATHER EARLY WARNING

BMKG (Badan Meteorology, Klimatology and Geophysics) observes solar sorting gauges (Cendo Stock) in BMKG Open Laboratory in Serang, Banten, Sunday (16/10). BMKG released the early warning of the tropical cyclone "Sarika" and the storms of "Haima" in the Pacific Ocean. Although not directly crossing in Indonesia but the impact of low pressure and strong wind turning point is predicted in the Malaka Strait that potentially bears heavy rains accompanied by strong winds as well as high waves in North Sumatra, South Java Coast, Lampung, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Maluku and Papua on 16-18 October 2016.
