GARDEN PROGRAMS ON THE BALCONY

The Dutch Ambassador Rob Swartbol (second left), Project Manager of PT East West Seed Indonesia (Ewindo) Hariadi Setiawan (second right), President Director Rabobank Martyn H Scouten (left) and the Dutch Kedubes Farm Counselor Lucie Wassink (right) launched the program of the 'Kebun Balcony' in Jakarta, Monday (24/10). The Dutch Kedubes along Ewindo encourages urban agricultural productivity through the garden program in the balcony where according to the FAO data of urban farms has been providing food for 700 million residents of the city or 25 percent total urban population.
