DENPASAR, 16/3 - MELASTI RITUAL. Thousands of Hindu worshippers carry sacred ornaments "Pretima" on their heads during the ritual of "Melasti" on the shore of Padanggalak in Denpasar, Bali, March 16, 2007. The annual ritual is held to cleanse the soul of the worshippers and the sacred ritual ornaments towards Nyepi festivities, marking the new year in Hindu calendar.
