NATIONAL ELECTRIC CRISIS

The National Economic and Industrial Committee (KEIN) estimates Indonesia will experience a power crisis of 1,000 megawatts (MW) in 2018. Every year the extra need for electricity surrounding 5,000 MW, while the State Electricity Company (PLN) is only able to provide electricity supply around 4,000 MW every year.
