The museum occupies the former area of Bank Indonesia City building which is a cultural reserve of De Javasche Bank, presents the information of the role of Bank Indonesia in the nation's history journey, including the role of Bank Indonesia as the only authorized institution to issue and fade Rupiah money as well as revok, withdraw and destroy money from circulation.
