NET CANTRANG

Nelayan shows a cantrang net after squeezing on the village coast of Seletreng, Kapongan, Situbondo, East Java, Saturday (18/3). A number of traditional fishers still use modifications of "trawl" nets such as cantrang, dogol, attachments and arad when admiring fish although the use of the net is prohibited by the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries that will officially be excluded in June 2017.
