Huawei Indonesia launched the SmarGen program to improve the ability of Information Technology and Communication (TIK) of Indonesian students began from seven leading universities in Indonesia namely the University of Indonesia (UI), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Telkom University (Tel U), Diponegoo University (Undip), Padjadjaran University (Unpad) and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November (ITS).
