RITUAL HOLY BANYU

A number of citizens conduct the rituals of the 'containing banyu' (take water) holy in the Umbul Sigedang, Ponggok, Polanharjo, Klaten, Central Java, Thursday (30/1). The sacred 'containment of banyu' in seven spring sources, namely milky umbul, Jolotundo umbul, umbul Sigedang, Gedaren umbul, umbul Nilo, umbul Pelem and Manten's umbul as a self-reflection and invite a large society to keep the preservation of nature for the future survival.
