Pe-cun Celebration

TANGERANG, 19/6 – PE-CUN FESTIVITIES. A local resident tries to catch a duck during the festivities of Pe-cun at the Vihara of Nimmala (Boen San Bio) in Tangerang, Banten, June 19, 2007. A series of events like dragon boat race and the release of 700 ducks were done during the festivities, which were celebrated to commemorate a Chinese icon, Khut Goan, and to celebrate the day of life (Twan Yang).
