GIANYAR, 19/3 - NYEPI. A "Pecalang" guards the road which connect Denpasar and the Port of Padangbai at the village of Bitera in Gianyar, Bali, March 19, 2007. All Balinese activities shut down for 24 hours during the commemoration of Nyepi (Silent Day), as Hindus are forbidden to travel, watch entertainment, work, and to light a fire or lamp.
