CONSERVATION SITE FOSSIL BANJAREJO

Banjarejo’s Fosil Care Community conducts fossil conservation under the supervision of Purba Human Site Conservation (BPSMP) Sangiran, at the site of the discovery of the ancient elephant fossils in Banjarejo Village, Gabus, Grobogan, Central Java, Monday (31/7). In addition to the ancient elephant fossils alleged species of Stegodon, at that location also found a number of fossils among horns and front legs of the bull (Bibos paleosondaicus), muara crocodile teeth (Crocodylus sp), river crocodile teeth (Gavialis sp), as well as rusa fragments (Cervidae) are now still in further review process.
