The Governor of Aceh Irwandi Yusuf (right) received an eye cendera from Dirut Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) Irfan Zainuddin (left) signed a nota working with the geothermal energy in Banda Aceh, Aceh, Monday (31/7). Pertamina Geothermal Energy, subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), from September 2017 will conduct a survey of geothermal energy sources (geothermal) in Gunung Seulawah, Aceh, which is estimated to have the potential of producing electricity of 165 MW, with the initial stage production target of 55 MW completed within five years.
