Two women followed the rumbia leaf roof to commemorate the 74th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in the West District Office of Meranti Islands, Riau, Tuesday (15/8). The Western High Tebing Camat for the first time held a rumbia roofing race involving 14 villages, to preserve the tradition of hovering that began to be forgotten by local communities.
