FULL DAY SCHOOL PROGRAM

A number of santris by bringing replicas of keranda following peaceful actions rejecting the ‘full day school’ program of Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) in Ungaran, Semarang District, Central Java, Friday (18/8). Around 5,000 people consisting of santri, santriwati, teachers, ulama, Banser activists, and GP Ansor demanding the government to revoke the Minister of Education and Culture Number 23 of 2017 that regulates five-day school policies in a week or "full day school" because it is assessed not in accordance with the diversity and geographical conditions of the Indonesian society.
