GOGO LELE TRADITION

A child shows the lele fish of his catch when following the "Gogo Lele" tradition or catching fish using hands in the Gemulung river, Kawak Village, Jepara, Central Java, Sunday (27/8). The tradition held once a year and was followed by hundreds of people aimed to understand how to preserve nature such as catching fish without having to damage the environment.
