MINING RIVER BRANTAS

A number of active illegal sand miners over sand suction shelves in the middle of Brantas River stream, Tulungagung, East Java, Sunday (29/10). The activity of sand-batu mining (sirtu) by the Great Hall of the River (BBWS) Brantas for the purpose of nomalization of fulfillment of the needs of the national strategic project material Bendungan Tugu in Trenggalek has triggered the dignity of mechanical sand mining activities illegally but not to be followed by local security apparatus.
