ADULT ORANGUTAN TRANSLOCATION

One individual adult male Orangutan lands on the net after being used by the Indonesian International Animal Rescue (IAR) dive team, when secured from the garden of citizens in the village of Riam Riceap, North Kayong Regency, West Kalimantan, Wes (4/1). The combined team of IAR Indonesia, BKSDA Kalbar and the National Park Hall of Mount Palung (TNGP) managed to move one individual Orangutan Kalimantan (Pongo pygmaeus) from the garden of citizens into the Ketapang TNGP region.
