RICE IMPORT POLICY

Employees issued rice from the sacks for cleaning process in Martoloyo Rice Market, Tegal, Central Java, Saturday (13/1). A number of rice traders, supporting the government’s policy stabilizes the price of rice by importing because the price of rice in the market continues to crawl up, last week from Rp500 to Rp1,500 per kilogram, as a result of supply from farmers falls up to 75 percent.
