Chairman of Ombudsman Amzulian Rifai (left) accompanied by members of the Ombudsman Ahmad Alamsyah Saragih (center) and Alvin Lie (right) provided a description to the journalists about the Maladministration Indication in the management of the data of the National rice supply and the Rice Import Policy in the Ombudsman Office, Jakarta, Monday (15/1). Ombudsman conducts special monitoring to the markets related to stock and price rise of rice carried out in 31 provinces on January 10-12, 2018 and concluded that the supply of rice fitting, uneven, and the price rises sharply since December as well as finding maladminstration symptoms in the management of stock data and the import plan of rice 500 thousand tons by the government.
