IMPORT RICE

Employees moved the sacks containing rice in the Cipinang Rice Market, East Jakarta, Friday (19/1). The government will import rice as much as 500 thousand tons in order to add a national rice supply that is now only remaining under one million tons of rice while according to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United States such as Indonesia must have a national rice reserve range from 1,1 million to 1.8 million tons.
