ISLAMIC ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEAL

Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Agus Martowardojo (left) signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Chairman of the Indonesian Ulama Assembly (MUI) Ma'ruf Amin (right three), Chairman of the Indonesian Wakaf Agency (BWI) Muhammad Nuh (right second) and Chairman of the National Amil Zakat (Baznas) Bambang Sudibyo (right) in the MUI building, Jakarta, Wednesday (24/1). BI agreed to the commitment of the development of Islamic economics in Indonesia with three institutions, namely MUI, BWI, and Baznas expected to support and realize conducive climate for the economic and financial development of Indonesia.
