SOFTENED SAND MINER

A number of sand miners climb the sand into the truck in Kali Woro, Miss, Klaten, Central Java, Thursday (8/2). Derah Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Klaten Regency encourages manual sand miners in the stream of Kali Woro slopes of Merapi mountains to further increase alertness in recognising the surrounding environment with the signs of landslides such as cracks or bases of soil around the cliffs as well as the threat of the rainwater laxy during the rainy season.
