TEA QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

The work of picking tea leaves using a typing machine in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN VIII) Malabar, Bandung, West Java, Friday (16/2). The Ministry of Agriculture predicts the production of this year's tea will only increase less than 1 percent visible from the production of domestic tea in 2017 reached 139.362 tons, while this year is estimated only will reach 140.084 tons. To encourage the quality as well as the production of tea this year Ministry of Association will distribute funds of Rp 6,7 billion for the intensification of 215 hectares (ha) tea plantations in 1 Regency/City and rehabilitation of 1000 ha in 7 districts/City from 2 provinces.
