SIAMANG IN THE ARREST OF CITIZENS

Seekor satwa Siamang or Kera Black Sumatra (Symphalangus syndactylus) is in the illegal arrest of residents in Jeulikat Village, Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Monday (19/2). According to the international conservation institution IUCN, Siamang which is a species of owa has lost 70-80 per cent of its main habitat in Indonesia while being protected under Law No.5 in 1990 and PP No.7 in 1999.
