CAVE OF PURBA TSUNAMI

A visitor observes the Purba Tsunami Cave wall estimated by 7.400 years in the beach area, Meunasah Lhok Village, Lhoong District, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh, Saturday (9/6). Purba’s Tsunami Cave was found and then researched by the Disaster Management Agency of Aceh, Tsunami & Disaster Mitigation Research Centre (TDMRC), the Syiah University Research Team of Kuala waskerjsama with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore was proposed to be used as geopark and world tsunami research center.
