FESTIVAL

A number of participants played traditional music gejog lesung during the Festival Gejog Lesung in Cawas, Klaten, Central Java, Saturday (21/7). The traditional music festival followed by 31 groups of gejog lesung’s arts were held as a “guri-uri” embodiment or conserving the arts of the tired (the padi penumbuk) that is now the goal of the rice harvest season.
