THE INAUGURATION OF BIOMASS POWER PLANTS

The Minister of PPN/Head Bappenas Bambang Brodjonegoro (center) accompanied by Governor Kalbar Sutarmidji (left) and Plt Bupati Mempawah, Gusti Ramlana (right) inaugurated the Biomass Power Plant (PLTBm) Siantan in Wajok, Mempawah Regency, Kalbar, Monday (24/9). The Ministry of PPN/Bappenas supports the improvement of renewable energy sustainability capacity in Indonesia, one of them by forming the Government Non Budget Investment Financing Team (PINA) in facilitating the contribution of private parties and public-owned long-term funds to enter into renewable energy sectors, such as PLTBm in Nias 18 MW, Mentawai 5 MW, 10 MW Siantan and energy from urban waste in TPU Bekasi.
