ACEH KETAMBE RESEARCH STATION

Leuser Conservation Forum officers crossed the river by using boat to Ketambe Research Station located in Gunung Leuser National Park area (TNGL) Ketambe Village, Ketambe District, Southeast Aceh Regency, Aceh, Tuesday (27/11/2018). Ketambe Research Station established in 1971 by Dutch nationality researchers, Herman D. Rijksen has a area of reaching 450 hectares, since mid 2013 the station was managed by the Leuser Conservation Forum (FKL) along the National Park of Gunung Leuser as a biodiversity research center as well as to protect satwa corridor and to strengthen the TNGL area safety system.
