WILD ELEPHANT TRANSLOCATION

The wild elephant arrested by the Conservation Officer of Natural Resources (BKSDA) Aceh assisted by benign elephants on the pawang (Mahout) dried to descend from the truck when moving elephants to its habitat (translocation) in Subulusalam City, Aceh, Sunday (9/12/2018). BKSDA Aceh together with several environmental care institutions captures a 20-year-old wild elephant that has been caught in the plantation area to move to another location in the border protected forest of South Aceh Regency and Subulusalam City.
