COMMITMENT
KOPENHAGEN, 10/12 - COMPITMEN TUNTUT. A group of activists from Friends of the Earth (FoE) International conducts a peaceful action in the 15th Summit of Climate Change (COP) UNFCCC in Copenhagen, Denmark, Wednesday (9/12), demanding commitments from industrial countries (Annex-1 Kyoto Protocol) to reduce carbon emissions up to 40 percent without the mechanism of switching carbon emissions to developing countries (offset). The Climate Change Summit lasts on December 7 - 18 followed by delegation of 193 countries worldwide to discuss the impact of climate change in the world and the commitment of industrial countries for the reduction of carbondioxide emissions.
