FARMERS SAGU PROTEST OIL COMPANY

A number of farmers of sago plant conducts appointments in front of the palm oil company office doors PT Sari Asri Rejeki Indonesia (SARI) in Mowewewe, East Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, Monday (14/1/2019). Hundreds of representative farmers from three Mowewewe, Loea and Tinondo districts who have a 3,500 hectares of land certificate demanding PT SARI’s palm oil company to replace the rugi of 80 thousand farmers’ sago trees and requesting companies who have not legality of the Rights of Guna Usaha (HGU) from the government to not continue their activity in their land.
