THE INAUGURATION OF CACAO PROCESSING INDUSTRY

The Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartanto (right three) accompanied by Minister of Research, High Technology and Education (Distributing) Mohamad Nasir (left quarter), Vector University of Gadjah Mada (UGM) Panut Mulyono (second left), and Bupati Rod Wihaji (second right) tried the processed results of kakao seeds in the inauguration of the Integrated Comprehensive Development Center (PPKIPKT) in Wonokerso Village, Kandeman, Rod Regency, Central Java, Monday (11/2/2019). PPKIPKT is built by the Ministry of Industry cooperated with UGM is able to process as many as 300 tons of cacao seeds per month in the first year with the early absorption of cacao seeds from local farmers about 10-20 percent with brown export to Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Asia.
