TREE PLANTING TRAMBESI

JAKARTA, 13/1 - POHON TREMBESI. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (center), Ms. State Ani Yudhoyono (right) and Minister of Forestry Zulkifli Hasan (left) raised seedlings of Trembesi trees (Samanea Saman) in the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (13/1). The Head of State initiates the development of Trembesi tree cultivation because it is known for its ability to bind CO2 so it is good to be used as a plant of greenery as part of the real action of Indonesia in realizing the target of carbon emission reduction by 26 percent in 2020.
