EVACUATION TIGER SUMATERA AFFECTED BY JERAT

The combined team of Natural Resources Conservation (BBKSDA) Riau and Sumatran Tiger Rehabilitation Center Dhamasraya (PR-HSD) evacuated wild Sumatran tigers in the forest restoration area of PT Gemilang Cipta Nusantara, Pelalawan Regency, Riau, Monday (25/3/2019). Sumatran tiger (panthera tigris sumatrea) male with an approximate age 3-4 years and its weight is about 90 kilograms it is severely wounded in the left leg of the front due to steel wire mesh trap mounted hunter.
