RICE PRODUCTION DECREASED

GERUNG, 18/3 - PRODUCTION RUN. A number of farmers harvesting rice in Kuripan district, West Lombok, NTB, Thursday (18/3). According to the estimated number of West Nusa Tenggara Statistics Center (BPS NTB) production of NTB padi in 2010 had a decline to 1.677.841 tons of dry giling (gkg) or reduced approximately 192.934 tons of gkg from rice production figures of 2009 as much as 1.870.775 tons of gkg caused due to the occurrence of planting season shift due to the return of rain downtime.
