ADVANCED INVESTIGATION OF WASTE CONTAINER B3

The officer checked the suspected plastic waste contains hazardous and toxic materials (B3) when conducting advanced checks at Batu Ampar Port, Batam, Riau Islands, Wednesday (19/6/2019). The combined team of Maritime Chews, Ministry of Environment and Forestry and Office of Bea and Batam Customs continue the inspection of 28 plastic trash containers and 18 containers are indicated contamination of waste B3 while the rest is a contaminated plastic seeds.
