STOCK AND NATIONAL SALT ABSORPTION

Farmers harvested salts in people’s salt waves of Kedungmutih Village, Wedung, Demak, Central Java, Monday (8/7/2019). According to the data of the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries, the national salt stock of production in 2018 to 4 July 2019 recorded 435.068,86 tons, covering 237.068,86 tons of folk salt results and 198,000 tons belongs to PT Salt (Persero), with the absorption of folk salt by processing industry by 960.000 tons.
