El presidente Joko Widodo firmó el último acero al inaugurar la fábrica Hot Strip Mill 2 PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk en Cilegon City, Banten, martes (21/9/2021). The factory has a 1,5 million tons hot rolled coil (HRC) production capacity per year and is the first factory in Indonesia which is able to produce premium quality HRC.
