Nyangku is an annual ritual held at the end of the month of Mulud (Rabiul Awal), in the form of banquet rituals or washing of heritage objects that used to defend themselves the time of spreading Islam religions including swords, cis, keris commands, rising handles of Panjalu, Pancaworo, Bangreng, and Gong. The locals who believe the water is the water to race – the race gets it. Some people even have brought bottles to get more water. While there is also a satisfied person even if only gets a little water splash.


The Nyangku tradition has been implemented since the reign of Prabu Borosngora, as one of the Islamic dakwah media especially in Panjalu region. My own mind has the meaning of my stomach, which in Sunda's language means to attack behavior. Because this nyangku ritual is not only as a hura-hura ritual but also has a sublime message for society to continue to improve the behavior and clean the liver.
