JANA STORY FROM PALM GARDEN

Palm plantations in Kuala Musam Village, Attack Rod District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra became "neraka" for Orangutan sumatra (Pongo abelii) female named Jana.


Jana, the name given the population for the 20 years old primates that have been caught in oil plantations in the village.


There are no fruits and rindang trees that make a buyer's pongo sometimes impose themselves to be familiar with the population and workers in the palm garden to just get food.
