Hundreds of silih climbers came to the top of the Tambora mountain through Pancasila village to celebrate the two-century eruption of Mount Tambora in Dompu, Bima, Sumbawa Island, West Nusa Tenggara.
Pos registration and lodging while continue to be filled by local and foreign climbers before climbing towards the peak of the Tambora and Kaldera mountain.
The journey towards the sum of the Tambora mountain only spends time for 14 hours of climbing and there are five posts or camping places during the climbing path.
Dua queens last year the Tambora mountain pits on April 10, 1815 kilometers with an area of 7 kilometers. The explosion result, the height of Mount Tambora decreases to half, which is from 4.300 mdpl to 2.815 above sea level (mdpl) and three buried kingdoms namely Tambora, Pekat and Sanggar.
This mountain of Tambora is already inaugurated President Joko Widodo to Mount Tambora National Park (TNGT). The National Park of Mount Tambora has three zones that are natural reserves an area of 23.840,81 hectares, margasatwa as an area of 21.674,68 hectares and hunt gardens of 26.130,25 hectares that overall reach 71.645,74 hectares.
Presiden asked to the West Nusa Tenggara community to always keep the National Park of Mount Tambora (TNGT) and maintain its sustainability as each year will be held a dismissal of Tambora every year and will be a momentum to lift the tourism world of Sumbawa island.
