Papua has now been a special school for flights. The official Jayapura Aviation Polytechnic was opened in 2019 and above 96,000 square meters. Complete another flight school under the Ministry of Transportation such as in Surabaya, Medan, Palembang and Makassar.
The main mission of Jayapura Aviation Polytechnic is to organize vokasi education to produce professional, ethical and excellent graduates. The existence is expected to be able to meet the demands of Human Resources (SDM) in the world of flights to international recognition.
This polytechnic has 9 labs, 2 simulator areas, one workshop room, 4 supporting facilities and 2 units of practice vehicles and has 3 majors namely Diploma III Airport Management, Diploma III Air Traffic Management and Diploma III Airport Electrical Engineering. The school has also received the first generation taruna-taruni in 2019 and will be the next 2022 graduation.
