Dayak is one of the ethnic majority that inhabited the border area of Indonesia–Malaysia in Entikong, Sanggau, West Kalimantan. Most of the original ethnicity of Kalimantan in Entikong is Dayak Bidayuh. This is divided into several subsuku spread across a number of regions, especially along the Sekayam River stream, which is also their traditional transportation lines.
Bidayuh Dayak people who are baya or half in his daily life from the results of the farm, fields, or work in a sense. For those who rely on life from farming or lactating, it is not uncommonly they have to shed long journeys through the wilderness and rivers bring the earth’s results to be spoiled on the Entikong market.

Globalization and lifestyle almost closes the cultural identity of Dayak Bidayuh people in Entikong. Like other areas in Indonesia, awareness and pride to preserve such traditions as a glimpse of the young generation of Entikong.
It is still a few figures that are the cultural guards of Dayak in Entikong. One of them is Baneson, 51. The baya man who resides in Dusun Soily keeps his own cultural heritage and giat seeks a young generation to be introduced in the Dayak tradition. “One of the efforts that I did it open a small cultural budget called Daeng Kumang, and teach traditional dances Dayak to local children,” said Baneson. Through his efforts that the Dayak tradition remains a dance in this State booth.
