ULOS : IDENTITY, CULTURE AND FASHION

Ulos is a traditional custom Batak woven fabric. According to the legend that lives in the Batak tribe, there are three warmth sources in the world, namely the sun, fire, and ulos.

It is literally, ulos is a warming cloth of the body and protects itself from cold air.

The grandma of the Batak tribe, first lived in the mountain area, so the ulos was worn to warm the body.
