FLOATING PEUCANG ISLAND AT THE END OF THE KULON

Peucang itself is taken from a similar name of a snail that is often found on the beach. Locals usually call it ‘wrong eyes’. Peucang also means the term in Sunda language to call kancil.

The island attracts tourists both local and country manca because of a variety of attractions offered, ranging from various wildlife such as Rusa, Merak, Forest Pigs to Banteng.

To reach the island, tourists can rent a boat from the Well area, Pandeglang, Banten. The offshore crossing journey towards the island can be reached within approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. For travelers who want to overnight can take advantage of barak buildings provided by the manager.
